And of course that project is a break I'm taking from the Dutch Fisherman's Sweater for my mom's 50th birthday (two years ago now!). Here it is, still in progress, and a closeup of the cable. It's actually black in real life - haven't quite figured out that white balance thing yet on the new camera... Update (spring '06): I'm finally making progress again on Mom's sweater . After breaking two different sets of circs, I've finally got good strong ones and got to the armpits and am now working the back in back-and-forth.
