Upon learning that my niece has hit the pink-and-purple stage early (she's only 3!), I invested in some Lion Brand pinks and purple eyelash yarn [my god! what does one do with the leftovers?!], and designed a muff and scarf to match what I think of as the Dr. Seuss slippers from Weekend Knitting.
