After the Disaster Sweater and it's leftover scarf, I let my knitting skills languish again, until a few years ago the confluence of graduate school (i.e., the dire need for art therapy) and the birth of my very first niece brought me back. I started with this adorable little cotton dress from a MinnowKnits pattern, which I got from a chic-chic little store here in NYC - knitting finally hit the states! This photo was taken before I thought to take pictures of the knitting itself, so the picture shows off Maddie better than the dress, but perhaps that's as it should be.
